With two of their quartet coming off an Olympic silver at the Paris Olympics, Paris came into the event with confidence and momentum.
They took on Lithuanian side Raudondvaris to start off and came away with a 20 - 18 victory. Clutch buckets from Jules Rambaut and Paul Djoko proved to be pivotal.
They faced a sharpshooting Barcelona side next. This time it was Franck Seguela who caught fire, putting up a whopping 15 points to lend his side the advantage. It was Hugo Suhard who delivered the final blow as they picked up a thrilling 22 - 20 victory.

Momentum is on their side as they head into Quarter-final action tomorrow against top-seeded Vienna.

The Latvian side were on a mission on Day 1 of the Lausanne Masters, going unbeaten on the day. The results were largely thanks to the offensive showcase by Kristaps Gluditis.
He put up 11 points in their opener against a lethal Partizan side. He went off yet again in their next matchup again San Juan where he added 12 to an already impressive tally.
Kandava are heading into Quarter-Final action with momentum in hand alongside a flame throwing offensive powerhouse in Gluditis.
