    Miami made a statement on Day 1 in Edmonton, starting off with a 21 - 12 victory against Marseille. Canyon Barry was an offensive menace, setting the tone early for the Americans. He finished with 7 points while Jimmer Fredette caused havoc from deep as he got 9. 

    The returning Kareem Maddox made huge contributions in their next game as he scored 8 points in the 22 - 14 result against NY Harlem. Barry chipped in with 8 to wrap up an impressive pool phase for himself and team Miami. 

    PLAYERS

    Milos Supica (Partizan)

    Partizan caught fire in Edmonton on Day 1, and Milos Supica was at the forefront of it. 

    A massive presence in the paint, Supica punished Beijing every time. He picked up 7 points, including a massive alley-oop poster. He led his side in scoring in their 21-20 victory. 

    He kept on his hot streak, scoring 10 huge points in their 21 - 17 win over Lausanne. 

    Partizan will rely on his dominance heading into the knockout phase tomorrow.
