    Latest FIBA Approved Equipment Guide includes 3x3 program

    MIES (Switzerland) - The latest FIBA Approved Equipment Guide is now available to ensure quality and safety for venue operators, event organizers, fans and players.

    MIES (Switzerland) - The latest FIBA Approved Equipment Guide is now available. This guide provides the most up-to-date list of all FIBA approved equipment that has been tested by FIBA Accredited Test Institutes in accordance with the Handbook of Test Methods and Requirements. 

    The FIBA Approved Equipment Guide, which helps ensure quality and safety for venue operators, event organizers, fans and basketball players, is produced by the FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre.

    It provides assistance to National Federations, clubs, municipalities and governments that are involved in the construction and refurbishment of basketball facilities.

    With 3x3 basketball about to be played at the Olympics for the time, this summer in Tokyo, Japan, the guide now includes a FIBA Approved 3x3 Equipment program. Its aim is to increase the quantity and quality of top-level 3x3 competition equipment and to raise the standard of outdoor playing equipment throughout the world.
