CHEKHOV (2015 FIBA U19 Women's World Championship) - France took back-to-back victories at the 2015 FIBA U19 Women's World Championship after defeating Mali69-50, to finish second in Group C.

Turning point: There was no turning point as France did a good job of laying down their authority early with a powerful opening ten minutes which saw them climb into a commanding double-figure advantage at 17-7.

Stats Don't Lie: Mali looked after the ball well, but needed to make some outside shots to keep pace and always found it a struggle after going 2 of 20 from three-point range. France also showed some great work on the glass and won that duel 56-37.

Game Heroes: Marie-Michelle Milapie achieved a double-double of 11 points and 10 rebounds. She was one of three players to finish with 11 points, while Marylie Limousin top scored with 14 points after hitting a trio of three-pointers.

The Bottom Line: France did a good job from the buzzer of stifling any quick-fire start by Mali and not giving them any real encouragement. That was fundamental and once in the ascendancy, France always looked comfortable due to their efforts on the boards and making a few scores from long-distance. Mali will probably feel that they allowed the game to get away from them and always struggled to get a foothold as they perhaps predictably finished bottom of Group C. At least they did reach the 50-point landmark and that was mainly due to Djeneba N'Diaye who had 19 points.
