MIES (Switzerland) – The 6th edition of the FIBA Open planned on 20-21 June 2020 is being postponed to September 5-6.

Due to the current pandemic, the International Basketball Foundation (IBF) who organises the 3x3 basketball tournament has had to push back the annual event to ensure the safety of all participants.

All teams already registered will have their registration automatically changed to the new date but can cancel it and be reimbursed should they not be able to attend by sending an email to open.3x3@fiba.basketball.

"Given the current situation, this is the best solution that we could find" said IBF President Horacio Muratore. "We sincerely hope that the tournament will be able to take place in 2020. The safety of our players and staff is our first priority and we will follow the orders of the local authorities.

Registration are open here for this tournament that is now the biggest 3x3 grassroots tournament in Switzerland. With over 12 categories there is truly a space for everyone to play.
