FIBA host second Partners Workshop of 2021
GENEVA (Switzerland) - Fifty representatives from the FIBA partner's family from around the world attended the digital FIBA Partner Workshop this week.
GENEVA (Switzerland) - A whopping 50 representatives from around the world took part in the latest digital FIBA Partner Workshop this week.
All FIBA Global Partners and Official Suppliers participated, with representatives joining from countries across 17 different time zones, from the West Coast of the United States to Tokyo, Japan.
A major focus was placed on events coming up over the next two years - the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cups, FIBA AmeriCup 2022, FIBA Asia Cup 2022, FIBA EuroBasket 2022 and the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 and FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023.
FIBA Marketing provided elements on planning for the competitions ahead, including details on marketing operations, branding and licensing, promotions and activation opportunities.
FIBA also presented its strategy around game experience, showing how partners can contribute and enhance profiles of events.
New Global Partners Bitci and J9.com, and new Global Suppliers, Hyperice and Junckers, were introduced at the start of the workshop and welcomed to the FIBA family.
There was a presentation of key broadcast, and digital and social media results, from events and promotional activities that took place this year.
The FIBA Digital team also took partners through FIBA's digital and social media strategy and objectives for the flagship competitions, activation opportunities for partners and key principles for success.
