    SAN JUAN (Puerto Rico) - The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) is excited to announce that the fourth edition of the FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup will return to the vibrant city of San Juan, Puerto Rico, from December 13-15, 2024. After an unforgettable event last year, Puerto Rico once again set to organize this prestigious tournament, showcasing the best of 3x3 in the Americas.

    The previous edition of the AmeriCup in San Juan not only highlighted the city’s beauty and the region's enthusiasm for 3x3 but also marked a significant moment for Puerto Rican 3x3 basketball. The men's team of Puerto claiming their first trophy in a historic victory, while the USA women’s team secured their defending title.

    This tournament represents an opportunity for every national federation from the Americas to showcase their talent, with both men’s and women’s teams invited to participate.

    As is the case for every FIBA 3x3 national team official competition, the main draw of these events will feature the same number of men and women’s teams, who will play alternatively on the same court in front of the same fans.
