MUNICH (Germany) - Miha Lapornik has been named as the November MVP for the FIBA Europe Cup season.

MUNICH (Germany) - Patrioti Levice guard Miha Lapornik has been named as the FIBA Europe Cup November MVP.

The 29-year-old and his production for the Slovakian club this month was key in the club's successful battle to make it through to the Second Round.

Having lost the first three games of the Regular Season, the Patrioti Levice bounced back in November with three wins on the trot to extend their campaign.

Averaging 31 points on an amazing 65 percent three-point shooting, along with 3.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game, Lapornik led his team to a 3-0 record for the month.

His best performance came in a 94-80 victory over Opava on Gameday 6, with Lapornik collecting 37 points and making eight threes to help his side clinch qualification.

"I am very proud of this team. I'm glad that our fans were there and helped us get this win in the end. We deserved this success," Lapornik said.

Next up, Lapornik and Patrioti Levice will take on Karhu Basket on the road in a Group J contest to start the Second Round.
