    MUNICH (Germany) - Artur Konontsuk has been named as the FIBA Europe Cup March MVP after his strong performances helped BC Kalev/Cramo record three wins in the Play-Offs.

    The 22-year-old Estonian forward averaged 16.7 points and 8.7 rebounds on the month, while shooting an incredible 69 percent from three-point range.

    Konontsuk's best performance of March came in a double-double effort in the first leg of the Quarter-Finals against Brose Bamberg - dropping 22 points and 10 rebounds on the German club.

    He would follow it up with a 17-point, 8-rebound performance as Kalev-Cramo advanced to the Semi-Finals of the competition for the first time.

    Konontsuk contributed 11 points and 8 rebounds with another trio of triples as his side earned a seven-point advantage in their Semi-Finals encounter with Cholet Basket.

    They head on the road to France next week with the aim of completing the mission of making it to the Finals with Konontsuk in top form to help Kalev/Cramo do so.
