TEL AVIV (Israel) - CSM CSU Oradea completed their best-ever FIBA Europe Cup campaign with an 85-76 victory over BC Parma in Sunday's Third Place Game.
The Romanian side held off a strong second-half fightback to make sure of the third step on the podium as they bounced back from Friday's Semi-Final loss to Arged BMSLAM Stal.
Turning point: Oradea never trailed in the contest and were dominant in the second quarter as their lead peaked at 40-20 to double up their opponents and take control. However, the Russian side - who were without backcourt duo Adas Juskevicius and Lorenzo Williams - refused to give up on the contest and rallied to make it a one-possession game with 4:11 left, though that was as close as they would get.

Game hero(es): Aaron Broussard came off the bench with great effect with an efficient 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting along with 5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals, while Giordan Watson netted a season's best in the competition of 20 points with 3 steals.
Stats don't lie: Oradea struggled to find their range from outside the arc - finishing 2-of-15 - but their aggressive approach reaped rewards at the foul line as they made 29 free throws from 33 attempts, whilst shooting 59-percent from inside to keep their opponents at bay.
