    Day 3 witnessed first wins of the tournament for a number of teams, with Turkey managing to get rolling after taking down Belarus 75-59. Serbia were also celebrating too, as they strode past Romania 82-45 thanks to double-doubles from Visnja Stefanovic who finished with 13 points and 15 boards, while Nikolina Deuric collected 14 points and 13 rebounds.

    Netherlands also rejoiced as they got off the mark with a 55-51 victory against Croatia as Lotte Sant scored 17 points and sunk the go-ahead triple in the clutch. There was also an epic tussle between Lithuania and Poland with the Poles clinching a dramatic 68-65 victory as Weronika Hipp netted 20 points.

    The fontrunners in the tournament showed their class again. Holders Spain took a 57-44 statement win against Russia, while France moved to 3-0 as they took Latvia apart 68-45 with Kendra Chery snapping up 25 points, 7 rebounds and six steals.

    Germany jumped past Czech Republic 68-46 as Emily Bessoir recorded a stellar 18 points and 21 rebounds, with Hungary also remaining unbeaten as they eased past Italy 55-49.
