    Final rosters confirmed ahead of FIBA U16 European Championship 2022

    SKOPJE (North Macedonia) - The final rosters of all 16 participating teams at the FIBA U16 European Championship were confirmed on the eve of the tournament which tips off on August 12.

     

    SKOPJE (North Macedonia) - The final rosters of all 16 participating teams at the FIBA U16 European Championship were confirmed on the eve of the tournament which tips off in the capital of North Macedonia, Skopje, on August 12.

    Group A: France, Israel, Lithuania, Netherlands
    Group B: Croatia, Denmark, Serbia, Slovenia 
    Group C: Italy, Latvia, Poland, Turkey
    Group D: Greece, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Spain 

    The Group Phase comprises of four groups of four teams each, and will be played in a round-robin format, from Friday until Sunday. 

    On Tuesday, August 16, all contenders will move to the Round of 16, which is the first round of the knockout phase. The teams which competed in Group A will cross over with those from Group B, while the ones from Group C will do likewise with the teams from Group D.

    The Quarter-Finals are scheduled for Wednesday with the Semi-Finals set to take place on Friday, followed by the Final and the Third-Place Game on Saturday, August 20. You can watch all games, live and for free, on YouTube.com/FIBA.

    Meanwhile, the FIBA U16 European Championship, Division B tournament got underway in Sofia, Bulgaria on Thursday, August 11 with teams competing to gain promotion to the top tier.
