The Turkish side denied Maros Kovacik a winning start with CCC Polkowice, picking up a 54-64 victory on the road.
Courtney Paris starred with 17 points and 12 rebounds for Hatay, whilst Natalie Hurst top scored with 19 points.
"It was a difficult week for us because we changed coach," said Aikaterini Chatzidaki.
"We tried to focus on our defence and we are happy because CCC made only 54 points.
"We are very happy because it was the first win for us in EuroLeague. It is an historic moment and we are very, very happy."
There was also a special win for Uni Gyor as they ended a run of 28 consecutive losses in European competition by defeating Mersin 65-74 away from home.
Slovak international Zofia Hruscakova led the way with 18 points and 8 rebounds for their first road win since 2012.
Uniqa Sopron claimed their third win to join Perfumerias Avenida on a 3-2 record after beating the Spanish side 77-68 as Yvonne Turner poured in 31 points.

Dynamo Kursk came out on top in a battle between two previously unbeaten sides as they edged out ZVVZ USK Praha 69-66 in a thriller despite 28 points from Sonja Petrovic.
Also maintaining their perfect record were Nadezhda after they held on to beat Bourges Basket 58-60. UMMC Ekaterinburg remain close behind after easing past ESBVA-LM in a 69-88 victory behind 34 points from Diana Taurasi.
BLMA recovered from a slow start to defeat Famila Schio 69-66 as Gaelle Skrella netted 18 points, while Fenerbache improved to 4-1 with a 64-72 triumph away at Wisla Can-Pack.
