    Seedings unveiled for EuroLeague Women 2023-24 Draw

    MUNICH (Germany) - Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding and Perfumerias Avenida will enter the EuroLeague Women 2023-24 Regular Season Draw as the top-seeded teams, with the rest of the seedings also unveiled.

    MUNICH (Germany) - Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding and Perfumerias Avenida will enter the EuroLeague Women 2023-24 Regular Season Draw as the top-seeded teams, with the rest of the seedings also unveiled on Tuesday.

    The clubs participating in this season's edition of European Club Competitions will learn their opponents on August 9 in Munich, with the draws for EuroLeague Women and EuroCup Women streamed live on the official EuroLeague Women YouTube channel at 11:00 CET.

    A total of 19 clubs representing 10 National Federations registered for the 2023-24 season
    , with 13 of them placed directly in the Regular Season which will traditionally be played in two groups of eight teams each.

    The seedings, based on the ranking of the club performances in the European Club Competitions in the last three seasons, are as follows for the Regular Season:

    Seed 1: Fenerbahce Alagoz Holding (TUR); Perfumerias Avenida (ESP)
    Seed 2: Beretta Famila Schio (ITA); ZVVZ USK Praha (CZE)
    Seed 3: Cukurova Basketbol Mersin (TUR); Valencia Basket Club (ESP)
    Seed 4: LDLC ASVEL Feminin (FRA); Villeneuve d'Ascq LM
    Seed 5: Basket Landes (FRA); AZS UMCS Lublin (POL)
    Seed 6: Virtus Segafredo Bologna (ITA); Casademont Zaragoza (ESP)
    Seed 7: Serco UNI Gyor (HUN); Winner ELW Qualifiers Pairing 1
    Seed 8: Winner ELW Qualifiers Pairing 2; Winner ELW Qualifiers Pairing 3

    According to draw regulations, a maximum of two clubs from the same country can be drawn in the same Regular Season group, for countries that have up to three clubs in total.

    Each group can have a maximum of two countries that are represented by two clubs each and, in case there are exactly two clubs from the same country, those clubs shall be drawn into different groups if possible.

    Qualifiers

    The six clubs set to compete in the EuroLeague Women Qualifiers will play a home and away series on September 20 and 27 in three pairings of two clubs each to determine the remaining three teams in the Regular Season, with the winner of each pairing advancing.

    Each pairing will contain one seeded club and one non-seeded club, with the seeded clubs playing the return leg at home.

    The seedings are based on the three-year ranking of clubs in European Club Competitions.

    TTT Riga (LAT)
    MKS Polkowice (POL)
    DVTK HUN-Therm Miskolc (HUN)

    Non-seeded clubs:

    ACS Sepsi-SIC (ROU)
    London Lions (GBR)
    Besiktas JK (TUR)

    The winners will progress to the Regular Season of the EuroLeague Women, while the losing clubs will automatically feed into the EuroCup Women Regular Season.
