    MUNICH (Germany) - Latvian winger Kitija Laksa has been named as the EuroLeague Women MVP for February after posting an impressive month with Virtus Segafredo Bologna.

    MUNICH (Germany) - Latvian winger Kitija Laksa has been named as the EuroLeague Women MVP for February after posting an impressive month with Virtus Segafredo Bologna. 

    Laksa takes the award after some eye-catching performances during the month, which were central to the Italian club securing a pair of victories.

    Firstly, Virtus Segafredo Bologna strode past Olympiacos SFP 92-69, with Laksa contributing a smart and efficient 18 points, as well as 3 rebounds and 2 assists. 

    Laksa was then her team's leading performer in a one-sided 89-59 victory against Atomeromu KSC Szekszard, putting up 22 points, while also registering 6 rebounds and 2 assists.

    Those two February outings combined to produce a performance efficiency valuation of 20.0 per outing for Laksa; built around 20.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.0 assists per game.
