After Spain, France and Hungary, we look at yet another country that has a terrific record of participation in the competition. The biggest accomplishment came in 2014 when Galatasary made history with their first ever title.
It was also the first silverware for a Turkish club and to make a special night even sweeter, they took down fierce rivals Fenerbahce who are still chasing an elusive title eight years on, having lost a number of Finals.
Most of those who feature high in the charts played the bulk of their games for the Istanbul juggernaut duo, although the most noticeable factor is that those leaders are generally Turkish national team legends such as Nevriye Yilmaz, Birsel Vardarli Demirmen and Isil Alben - a trio at the heart of taking their country's game to new heights and historic firsts on the international stage.
