Which Italian players top the EuroLeague Women charts?

MUNICH (Germany) - In this latest edition in our series checking out EuroLeague Women leaders in each statistical category, it's the turn of Italy's best to come under the spotlight.

After Spain,  France, Hungary and Turkey, we look at yet another nation with a strong tradition of women's hoops and in the case of EuroLeague Women, it was mainly in the long and distant past that Italy delivered silverware - before the modern era we are focusing on. 

While famous clubs such as Beretta Famila Schio have been near perennial entrants, you have to search the older archive for teams that won titles such as AS Vincenza and Societa Ginnastica. 

Most of those those who feature did a lot of their work with Schio, especially the amazing trio of Laura Macchi, Raffaella Masciardi and Giorgia Sottana.
