    Thomas takes EuroLeague Women MVP honor for February

    MUNICH (Germany) - Alyssa Thomas has been crowned EuroLeague Women MVP for February after shifting up the gears for the Quarter-Finals bound ZVVZ USK Praha.

    MUNICH (Germany) - Alyssa Thomas has been crowned EuroLeague Women MVP for February after shifting up the gears for the Quarter-Finals bound ZVVZ USK Praha.

    The dynamic forward was given the thumbs up for the award after a blistering couple of games during the month, when she led her team to a pair of victories with outstanding performances.

    She firstly caught fire against Umana Reyer to hand the Prague team a classy 85-74 road win in Venice, prior to wrapping up an 84-64 home triumph against TTT Riga.

    Sandwiched in between those games, Thomas also represented USA at the FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 Qualifying Tournament in Washington DC.

    During the month of February, Thomas excelled across multiple statistical categories, averaging 18 points, 13 rebounds, 7 assists and 1.5 steals per game, which resulted in a stunning average performance efficiency valuation of 30 per outing.

    Thomas becomes the fifth winner of the monthly award this season and the second from ZVVZ USK Praha, since her teammate Brionna Jones snapped up the December crown.

    There have also been awards for Eva Lisec of Dynamo Kursk (October), Sandrine Gruda of Beretta Famila Schio (November) and Natasha Howard of Dynamo Kursk (January).
