MUNICH (Germany) - The EuroLeague Women season will culminate in Istanbul, Turkey for the second year in a row, with the Ulker Sports and Event Hall confirmed as the venue for the 2022 Final Four, set to take place from April 8-10.
Having provided the stage for the season-ending tournament last year, the Turkish city is set to welcome the top European clubs on the Bosphorus once again, with Fenerbahce Safiport playing host.
The Final Four field, confirmed last week, also features last edition's runners-up Perfumerias Avenida from Spain, perennial Hungarian champions Sopron Basket and ZVVZ USK Praha, representing Czech Republic.
The Ulker Sports and Event Hall hosted FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2014 and FIBA EuroBasket 2017 games
The season-ending tournament in Istanbul will mark the fourth consecutive Final Four appearance for Sopron, with Avenida and Fenerbahce qualifying for the second time in a row.
In Friday's Semi-Finals, Final Four hosts Fenerbahce will take on USK Praha, returning to the final phase of the competition for the first time since 2019, while Avenida will face Sopron.
The Final and the Third-Place Game will be played on Sunday.
The tip-off times, as well as information on ticket sales, will be announced in due course.
