MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) – Russia national team duo Maria Vadeeva and Raisa Musina have received a boost ahead of next week’s Final Four in Sopron after being picked in the 2018 WNBA draft.

As expected, it was Vadeeva who led the way –although she did not get selected as high as some observers had expected, eventually taking the 11th spot via the Los Angeles Sparks.

That could mean teaming up with her Dynamo Kursk team-mate Nneka Ogwumike if she is available to play this summer.

Czech Republic prospect Julia Reisingerova, who has been playing in Liga Feminina with Sant Adria, was the fourth and final European as the Los Angeles Sparks went for the center in the Third Round.
