    Seedings confirmed for EuroCup Women 2023-24 Draw

    MUNICH (Germany) - The seedings for the 2023-24 EuroCup Women draw are now known, with the participating clubs set to find out their respective opponents on Wednesday August 9.

    Taking place in Munich alongside the draw for the new EuroLeague Women campaign, both will be streamed live on the official FIBA YouTube channel at 11:00 CET.

    The Regular Season of the competition will be played with 48 clubs. There are 45 direct places in the Regular Season awarded, which includes three teams from the EuroLeague Women Qualifiers. A further three spots will be taken by those clubs successful in the EuroCup Women Qualifiers.

    Based on the EuroCup Women Regulations, the Regular Season shall be played with 12 groups of four clubs each. The 2023-24 campaign will see the competition played in a pan-European format once again, with a maximum of one club per country in the same group the only geographic restriction.

    The seedings, which are based on the ranking of the clubs' performance in European Club Competitions in the last three seasons, are as follows:

    Qualifiers

    The six clubs set to compete in the EuroCup Women Qualifiers will play a home and away series on September 21 and 28 in three pairings of two clubs each to determine the remaining three teams in the Regular Season, with the winner of each pairing advancing.

    Each pairing will contain one seeded club and one non-seeded club, with the seeded clubs playing the return leg at home.

    The seedings are based on the three-year ranking of clubs in European Club Competitions.
