    Play-Off Round 1 pairings set as Regular Season concludes

    MUNICH (Germany) - The EuroCup Women field is down to 32 teams following the conclusion of the Regular Season with the matchups for Play-Off Round 1 now confirmed.

    MUNICH (Germany) - The EuroCup Women field is down to 32 teams following the conclusion of the Regular Season with the matchups for Play-Off Round 1 now confirmed.

    The top two teams in each of the 12 groups advanced alongside the eight best ranked third-placed teams with the final spots clinched on Thursday evening.

    Galatasaray Cagdas Factoring, London Lions, Movistar Estudiantes, Spar Girona, Tango Bourges Basket, TTT Riga and Umana Reyer Venice all completed unbeaten campaigns in the Regular Season.

    The confirmed Play-Off Round 1 pairings are as follows:

    The qualified teams were seeded in accordance to the Official Basketball Rules with games against fourth-placed teams removed in order to create a fair ranking.

    Each Play-Off Round 1 tie is played in a home-and-away format with the higher ranked team earning home advantage for the second leg.

    The matchups will take place next month with the first legs scheduled to take place on December 14 before the return legs on December 21.
