MUNICH (Germany) - Karlie Samuelson has been recognized for her leading role in catapulting London Lions into EuroCup Women Semi-Finals by being handed the MVP award for February.

The guard produced two outstanding displays for the British side in their Quarter-Finals matchup against Melikgazi Kayseri to continue her team's historic run and take them one step closer to landing silverware.

Samuelson came up with a highly impressive performance efficiency valuation of 25.0 across the month and this was founded around her excellent shooting prowess and plenty of hard work on the boards. Samuelson lit it up by shooting almost 63 percent from the field across both games and that was a driver for 22.0 points per game.

It wasn't only holding the hot hand that made Samuelson turn heads, since she also worked hard for her team on the glass, coming up with an average of 6.5 rebounds per game.

In the first clash with Kayseri on the road,  she helped Lions to take control in the tie as they departed Turkish soil with an 87-79 win off the back of her stellar 25 points, together with a precious 4 rebounds.

Then when London needed to seal the deal on their home court, Samuelson did the business yet again with 19 points and 9 boards in an 82-70 victory. London take on Umana Reyer Venice in the Semi-Finals.
