MUNICH (Germany) - There was joy on Thursday night for Tango Bourges Basket and CBK Mersin Yenisehir Bld, who both sealed their passage to the EuroCup Women Final Four.

To make the evening even more special, they both wrapped up Semi-Final places in front of their own fans, with Bourges overturning a first-leg deficit and Mersin making history by reaching the last-four phase for the first time.

Bourges were trailing Basket Landes by two points from last week's matchup at the home of their French rivals, but they enjoyed an electric start to the second leg and eventually rode their way to a 74-55ย success.

A 25-8 first quarter paved the way for victory as Bourges managed to keep their rivals at arm's length throughout.ย

Young center Iliana Rupert enjoyed a productive night with 12 points and 10 rebounds, while veteran center Isabelle Yacoubou top-scored for Bourges with 13 points. Only Marine Fauthoux performed highly in defeat with 20 points and 6 rebounds.

A former winner of the competition, Bourges will face another in the shape of Galatasaray in the Semi-Finals, with the Turkish giants having cemented their place 24 hoursย earlier.ย

Meanwhile Mersin already had one foot in Final Four when they re-engaged with LDLC ASVEL Feminin on Thursday, and followed up their 13-point road win last week by gliding past the French side once again 82-68.

DeWanna Bonner and Tiffany Hayes went to some serious work again for Mersin and there was a sense of deja vu for ASVEL as the former claimed a double-double.

ย Bonner finished with 17 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists, while Hayes weighed in with a game-high 18 points. There was also a nice 16 points from Temi Fagbenle, who went 8 of 9 from the floor.

Mersin on't yet know their Semi-Finals opponent and will find out on Sunday evening when Valencia BC host Umana Reyer, holding a four-point advantage from the first leg.
