MUNICH (Germany) - There was cause for double celebration for Alaina Coates after she propelled Nesibe Aydin to the Round of 16 and also posted the best display of the Play-Off Round 1 Second Leg games.

MUNICH (Germany) - There was cause for double celebration for Alaina Coates after she propelled Nesibe Aydin to the Round of 16 and also posted the best display of the Play-Off Round 1 Second Leg games on Wednesday night.

Coates  was central to her team progressing after she amassed a performance efficiency valuation of 40 with a stellar 21 points and 23 rebounds in a hard-fought 74-71 success against NKA Universitas PEAC.

Emma Cannon did everything she could to carry Neve David Ramla to the next phase of the competition with 35 points and 11 boards. But regrettably for the center and her teammates, that didn't happen after they were shot down 86-79 at Castors Braine.

N'Dea Jones also hoped her side could extend their stay in this season's EuroCup Women, but it was not to be as WBC Enisey fell 84-68 at Olympiacos SFP, even though she came up with an impressive double-double of 23 points and 20 rebounds.

The veteran know-how of French guard Johanne Gomis was important in making sure Villeneuve d'Ascq LM didn't slip up at home to Tenerife. The hosts took a comfortable 75-49 victory founded on her 80-percent shooting effort for 19 points - as well as 5 assists, 4 rebounds and 4 steals.

Finally, Ornella Bankole signed off her participation in the competition with Roche Vendee with an impressive individual display. Despite her team bowing out in a 108-98 home defeat to Nika Syktyvkar, she excelled with 22 points. 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
