    MUNICH (Germany) - The seedings for the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers have now been confirmed ahead of the draw that takes place in Munich, Germany on Tuesday, August 8.

    There will be 32 participating countries - including the Final Round co-hosts Cyprus, Finland, Latvia and Poland - after the field was confirmed following the conclusion of the Pre-Qualifiers on Saturday. They will be drawn into eight groups of four teams with a home-and-away round robin system in place.

    The seedings for the draw are based on the FIBA World Ranking Men, presented by Nike, and are as follows:

    Seed 1: Spain, France, Serbia, Slovenia
    Seed 2: Lithuania, Greece, Italy, Germany
    Seed 3: Czech Republic, Poland, Turkey, Montenegro
    Seed 4: Finland, Croatia, Ukraine, Latvia
    Seed 5: Belgium, Georgia, Israel, Bosnia and Herzegovina
    Seed 6: Hungary, Estonia, Netherlands, Bulgaria
    Seed 7: Great Britain, Iceland, Sweden, North Macedonia
    Seed 8: Portugal, Denmark, Slovakia, Cyprus

    Teams from Seed 1 will be drawn into the groups with teams from Seed 4, Seed 5 and Seed 8 into Groups A, C, E and G, while teams from Seed 2 will be paired with teams from Seed 3, Seed 6 and Seed 7 into the remaining Groups B, D, F and H.

    A maximum of one host of the FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Final Round can be drawn in any group.

    The FIBA EuroBasket 2025 Qualifiers will be played across three windows on February 19-27, 2024, November 18-26, 2024 and February 17-25, 2025 with two games played by each team in every window.

    The three highest-placed teams from each group, except the groups which include FIBA EuroBasket 2025 co-hosts Cyprus, Finland, Poland and Latvia, will qualify for the Final Round. In the groups containing the host nations, the host and the two other highest placed teams will qualify for the FIBA EuroBasket 2025.
