    September 3 Top Performers: Osman, Antetokounmpo, Jokic, Doncic, Fournier

    Osman corralled 25 points and 8 rebounds  in a 101-87 defeat of Bulgaria in Tbilisi as the Group A favorites surged from behind to overcome a 28-points haul from Aleksandar Vezenkov.

    Antetokounmpo had 25 points, 11 rebounds and 3 steals in a thrilling 85-81 victory for the Greeks over Italy in which his defensive presence was a key influence in holding the Group C hosts at bay in a frenetic fourth quarter rally.

    The reigning NBA MVP Nikola Jokic was incredibly valuable for unbeaten Serbia with a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds in an 81-68 beating of still-winless Czech Republic in Prague.

    Luka Doncic had another tour de force in Cologne with Slovenia able to sit on a healthy third quarter lead in overwhelming Hungary 103-88 behind 20 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists from their playmaker.

    While France avoided falling into a 0-2 hole with a thrilling 77-73 triumph against Lithuania, sparked by 27 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals from Evan Fournier and a late vital 9-0 run.
