Angel Reese once again showed why she was the NCAA's top player last season, shining on both ends of the floor for the United States in their tight (67-63) win over Canada in the other semifinal. The young forward notched a 10-point, 13-rebound double-double and also had 2 steals and 3 blocks.
Despite Puerto Rico's defeat, Arella Guirantes once again proved why she's one of the best individual performers of the tournament. The WNBA's Seattle Storm's shooting guard did everything she could and finished with 22 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal.
Canadian center Kayla Alexander was in a similar situation. She collected 17 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists, a steal and a block but couldn't prevent the Canadian defeat at the hands of their North American rival.
