MIAMI (USA) - The official logo of the FIBA Women's AmeriCup 2021 was unveiled and represents the island of Puerto Rico with true spirit and honor. The FIBA Women's AmeriCup will take place from 11 to 19 of June in Puerto Rico and will feature ten teams from the three continental sub-regions, each qualified through the regional competitions or rankings.

The blue sphere symbolizes the spirit of basketball, and the magenta streak represents the Flor de Maga, which is the Puerto Rican national flower. The prominent yellow feather embodies the spindalis, the island's national bird. The mixture was inspired by the vibrant colors that decorate Puerto Rico's beaches and shores.

The FIBA Women's AmeriCup 2021 will be the 16th edition of the most elite regional competition in women's basketball in the Americas. The top four finishing teams will advance to compete in one of four FIBA Women's Basketball World Cup 2022 Qualifying Tournaments.
