    DEBRECEN (Hungary) - Thibaut Vervoort was named MVP of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Debrecen Masters 2022 after leading Antwerp to their first-ever Masters title on August 28.

    DEBRECEN (Hungary) - Thibaut Vervoort was named MVP of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour Debrecen Masters 2022 after leading Antwerp to their first-ever Masters title on August 28.

    The 24-year-old finished first in Player Value (41.1) and 3rd in scoring with 29 points in 5 games.

    "Must-See TV" led Antwerp in the final with 9 points, including the Maurice Lacroix buzzer beater to win the final (22-20) when the game was tied 20-20.

    He also had two other Maurice Lacroix buzzer beaters in this tournament, one in the quarter-finals against Liman in overtime to advance to the semi-finals (21-19) and another one in the Pool Stage against London also in OT (22-20)

    Debrecen will be always special for Thibaut Vervoort as he played there his first-ever 3x3 World Tour Masters in 2020 and was where Belgium qualified for the Tokyo Olympics last year at the 3x3 Universality Olympic Qualifying Tournament
