    Lima announces Brazil’s 16-player preliminary list for South American Women’s Championship

    SAO PABLO (FIBA Women’s AmeriCup 2019) – Carlos Lima, Head Coach of the Brazilian National Team, named the 16-players that make-up Brazil’s preliminary pool for the South American Women’s Championship 2018. The regional championship will be played in Tunja, Colombia, August 30 to September 4.

    The South American defending champions were drawn into Group A along with Paraguay, Venezuela and Chile. Meanwhile, Group B is composed of Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina, and Peru.

    The top-four teams from the regional championship will qualify to the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup 2019.
