Official Draws of the South American U15 Championships set for October 4

SAN JUAN (FIBA U16 Americas Championships 2019) – The International Basketball Federation in the Americas announced today that the Official Draws of the South American U15 Championships will be held on October 4.

The South American U15 Women’s Championship 2018 will be played October 29 to November 3 in the Chilean city of Aysen and will feature the participation of the National Teams from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela.

The pairs for the South American U15 Women’s Championship Draw are:

ARG – BRA
VEN - COL
ECU – URU
CHI - PAR

The South American U15 Championship 2018 will be played November 6-11 in Montevideo, Uruguay and will feature the participation of the National Teams from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela.

The pairs for the South American U15 Championship Draw are:
ARG – BRA
PAR – VEN
CHI – ECU
URU – COL

During the Draws, the participating teams will be divided in two (2) groups of four (4) teams.

The top three teams from the South American U15 Women’s Championship will qualify to the FIBA U16 Americas Women’s Championship 2019.
