And a new chapter for 3x3 starts with women's powerhouse France to be in a cauldron against host Thailand in the opening game on March 14 . The men's draw also starts off with a bang as hoops power USA will look to silence the home fans when they take on Thailand.
The opening day finishes with an absolute blockbuster as Olympic gold medalist Netherlands and men's No.1 Serbia resume their heated rivalry.
Day two starts with an intriguing women's clash between Thailand and Australia - teams who have done battle in the Asia Cup previously so you just know it will be feisty.
Other headliners on March 17, include No.1 women's team China taking on reigning AmeriCup champs Canada while Spain and Serbia will do battle in a rematch of the classic men's final at last year's Europe Cup.
Teams will be in overdrive knowing that the format is cut-throat. The top two teams of each pool will advance straight to the semi-finals - there will be no quarter-finals or play-ins - before the final and third-place game.
Set the alarms for those in the northern hemisphere as the third and final day on March 18 starts with the semifinals firstly with the women's at 7.45am GMT before the men's final four action.
