TEAMS
NETHERLANDS
The Dutch women came into the tournament on hot form, being one of the most active sides in the circuit. They showcased their experience in pool play as they started off with a strong 20 - 13 win over home side China U23.
The dynamic duo of Noortje Driessen and Janis Ndiba combined for 13 in the winning result. They carried their momentum forward with a gritty 14 - 12 win over the contending France. Driessen and Zoe Slagter both put up 6 each to carry the team’s offensive load.
They closed the day out with a perfect record after an 18 - 14 win over Czechia. Ndiba led her side in scoring with 8.
A 3-0 pool play record earned the Dutch a straight path to the semis on day 2.

ITALY
The Italian side earned the top spot in pool play, having to battle adversity on the way.
They started off with a 21 - 14 loss to Spain in their opener, but bounced back strong. They took on local side China U24 next where Laura Spreafico went off for 13 points, catching fire from deep.

They faced off against the Canadian Giants in a crucial game. The Italians took the fight to the opposition and ended up with an 18 - 15 victory. Chiara Consolini and Stefania Trimble combined for 15 points as Italy claimed their ticket to the semis on day 2.
PLAYERS
Katherine Plouffe (Canada)
Kat Plouffe was an offensive machine yet again for Canada as she led all players in scoring and player value.
After a 4-point, 6-rebound game against China U24, Plouffe put up 10 points and 7 rebounds in their marquee win over Spain. She had a monster game in their closer against Italy where she put up 9 points and 12 rebounds.
HORTENSE LIMOUZIN (France)
The shifty guard was back in form for team France. She started off with a team-high 8 points in their win against Czechia.
She was a highlight machine in their game against China U24 where she had 7 points and numerous key dimes to lead her side to victory.
