MIES (Switzerland) - Week 7 of the 2024-25 Basketball Champions League is now in the books, and now that we've digested Tuesday's and Wednesday's action, Thursday brings us a chance to reflect on the best individual performances.
The seventh Team of the Week consists of Errick McCollum, David Kramer, Arturs Strautins, Derrick Alston Jr and Steven Enoch.
McCollum had another 20+ point game for Karsiyaka, the fifth in his last six BCL games. The matchup with Kolossos H Hotels also marked the first time in his amazing career that he has connected on three straight games with 20+ points in this competition.
Kramer was on fire for La Laguna Tenerife against Saint-Quentin Basket-Ball, hitting eight three-pointers and receiving a standing ovation from the packed stands as coach Txus Vidorreta subbed him out with two minutes left to play.
Strautins led the comeback for Bertram Derthona Basket, especially in an 11-0 run with five minutes left to play which saw the Italians take the lead and storm to a win to stay perfect, despite SL Benfica's efforts on Wednesday.
Alston Jr struggled with his shooting, but was still able to put up impressive numbers, as he was once against BAXI Manresa's top performer, completing the sweep over the NINERS Chemnitz.
Finally, the middle belongs to Rytas Vilnius's big man. Enoch had a monster double-double, helping the Lithuanian champions pick up the only road win on Wednesday, done in overtime drama at Falco-Vulcano Szombathely.
You can now vote for the Player of the Week. The winner will be announced on Friday, when the poll closes, on the official BCL social media channels: Facebook, X (Twitter) and Instagram.
