Instituto de Cordoba was powerful against Minas, assured its spot in the Final

RIO DE JANEIRO (DIRECTV Liga Sudamericana 2018) – Instituto de Córdoba, arrived at the Jeunesse Arena in Rio de Janeiro with an unfavorable outlook. The Argentine squad had to face three Brazilian teams in their country and they were recently eliminated in the Super 20 Tournament of their local league, but the Argentine team showed class, dominated its rivals and was the undefeated leader of the second Semi-Final Group of the DIRECTV Liga Sudamericana 2018 to advance to the Grand Final.

The quintet of Córdoba conquered the task, with a convincing demonstration against Minas Tenis Clube, 83-64, and thus reached the DIRECTV Liga Sudamericana 2018 Final.

In the match against Minas, the dominance of those led by Facundo Müller began to be noticed early with an accurate attack. The first quarter favored them 20-14 and in the second they took the reins of the game with a 24-10 quarter, which allowed them to go to the halftime with an advantage of 20 points (44-24).

In their last game of the 2018 edition of the Liga Sudamericana, Flamengo defeated Bauru 102-75.

The Final of the DIRECTV Liga Sudamericana 2018, in which the Horacio Muratore Cup recipient will be determined, will start on December 7 at Franca. Then it will close in Córdoba on the 13th and 14th, in case a third game is necessary.
