ATHENS (FIBA World Championship) - Greece coach Jonas Kazlauskas was refusing to get carried away after watching his team sweep aside Cyprus 76-41 in a warm-up for the FIBA World Championship.

Greece were far too strong for their opponents, using an early 10-0 run to move 16-7 in front. They led 20-9 by the end of the first quarter and the gap only continued to increase as Greece showed their class.

Kostas Tsartsaris led Greece with 16 points.

However, Kazlauskas warned that it was too early to draw hard conclusions.

"It was our first game after a tough preparation," he said. "The game showed we are on track. But right now we're not interested in how many minutes each players plays, we just wanted to see some good attacks, and some good defending.

"We still have a long way to go, a long period of preparation. In general, we are on track but there are still some things that need to be corrected. It is too early to talk about specific details of the game and the players."
