    PARIS (Olympic Qualifying Tournament) - France have announced the names of the 16 players expected to show up for the team's first training camp of the year in Bourges.

    Les Bleues will be preparing for the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Ankara, where they will attempt to claim one of five spots for the London Games.

    The players of Bourges and Lattes Montpellier who just wrapped up the LFB play-off finals, and have a shot at the national team, have not been included in the first training sessions.

    The Bourges players, in fact, will be busy until they have played the Coupe de France Women on 13 May against Arras.

    Players with Nantes Rezé and Mondeville, the two sides that just played in the Challenge Round, also haven’t been named, yet.

    The first stage of training, which is being held at Bourges, wraps up on 18 May.

    Before the next stage commences 24 May, a different squad that includes many more veterans will be announced.

    On 2 June, France will play the first of their friendly games in the build-up to the OQT against Poland.

    Players for the first stage in Bourges on 8 May: Clemence Beikes, Ana Maria Cata Chitiga, Fabienne Constant, Naura El Gargati, Emilie Gomis, Laetitia Kamba, Pauline Krawczyk, Marion Laborde, Anael Lardy, Florence Lepron, Guiday Mendy, Kadidia Minte, Alexia Plagnard, Charlotte Preiss, Paoline Salagnac and Ingrid Tanqueray.
