Which players topped the stats charts during the Regular Season?

MUNICH (Germany) - After a dramatic six weeks of non-stop action in the Regular Season, it's time to look back on which players shone brightest during the opening phase of the FIBA Europe Cup.

Efficiency: Jeff Withey (Ironi Ness Ziona)

The American was one of the standout performers during the Regular Season, helping Ironi Ness Ziona to a perfect six wins from six. Withey did a bit of everything for his team, earning consecutive appearances in the Team of the Week including taking the honor of Top Performer in Week 1.

That display of 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks produced a rating of 36 in the opening win against Kapfenberg with further double-doubles coming against Keravnos and Landstede Hammers Zwolle.

Withey had three straight efficiency ratings of 30+ and finished averaging a double-double in four appearances while being the clear leader in field goal percentages with a staggering 80 percent after knocking down 28 of his 35 attempts. He edged out Tayler Persons - also no stranger to the Team of the Week lineups - to top the efficiency charts.

Points: Dardan Berisha (Sigal Prishtina)

It might only have been a short-lived experience, but Dardan Berisha had a big impact for Sigal Prishtina. The 31-year-old exploded into action with back-to-back 30-point games, though would only make one more appearance with his side bowing out from the Group Phase.

The Kosovan international led the competition in scoring during the Regular Season with Persons again missing out on the top spot, as six other players netted at least 20 points per game.

Berisha backed up his scoring outputs by turning provider during his three appearances, handing out 7.3 assists per game having increased his numbers after leading his side to the Round of 16 last season.

Rebounds: Andell Cumberbatch (Phoenix Brussels)

Another player that won't be going any further in the competition, Andell Cumberbatch certainly made his presence felt on the glass during the Group Phase. 68 boards collected in six appearances with three double-doubles amassed as Phoenix Brussels just missed out on a place in the Second Round.

Cumberbatch started on a roll, reaching double figures in rebounds in four straight games with a best of 14 coming on two occasions against Spirou Basket and Pinar Karsiyaka.

The 26-year-old edged out his compatriot Withey by the narrowest of margins as the leading rebounder during the Regular Season and the duo was joined by five other players in hauling down at least 10 per game.

Assists: Jared Jordan (BC CSU Sibiu)

Every week there was spectacular dime dropping being produced across FIBA Europe Cup and Jared Jordan made his mark with a league best of 8.8 assists per game.

The 35-year-old orchestrated the offence for BC CSU Sibiu even though results didn't go their way, with Jordan also boasting an impressive assist to turnover ratio of 5.0. He handed out a best of 12 dimes against Fribourg Olympic while scoring 8.8 points per game to match his assists tally.

Tayler Persons is becoming the stats bridesmaid, though yet another mention proves how impressive he was for ZZ Leiden with no other players coming up with more than 8 assists per game and the American did top the totals chart with 49 dishes overall.

Steals: Aaron Broussard (CSM CSU Oradea)

Pickpockets don't always steal the headlines, but it was Aaron Broussard who was the best of the best in that regards during the First Round.

Broussard came away with 3.0 steals per contest to go with 11.6 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.0 assists for CSM CSU Oradea as the Romanian side advanced to the Second Round with a 4-2 record.

His tally of 15 steals was one behind teammate Kristopher Richard, having played a game less. Dutch international Worthy De Jong also claimed 16 after topping the charts last season at the same stage.

Blocks: Jeff Withey (Ironi Ness Ziona)

You can't keep Withey out of the limelight. As well as producing all-round efficient performances, the American patrolled the paint with mighty effect for Ironi Ness Ziona with 2.8 rejections per outing.

Withey's total of 11 blocks were boosted by four in an opening victory, though the Regular Season game-high went to Klavs Cavars of Ventspils, who swatted 5 blocks on his way to earning the Top Performer award on Gameday 6.

Brandon Walters was next in line with 2.2 per game with a total of 13 from his six games for Kataja with Cavars and Andrew Smith both producing 2.0 per game.
