MUNICH (Germany) - The four matchups of the EuroCup Women Quarter-Finals were drawn on Thursday, revealing to each of the eight remaining contenders the rival who stands in the way as they hope to reach the Final Four.

In a replay of the 2021 final, the defending champions, Spain's Valencia BC, were drawn against Italian side Umana Reyer Venezia, who are one of four teams that transferred to the EuroCup Women from the EuroLeague Women.

Basket Landes, who had a strong showing in the EuroLeague Women Regular Season, finishing their campaign on a 7-7 record, will do battle with fellow French side Tango Bourges.

The third French team, LDLC ASVEL Feminin, was drawn against Turkey's CBK Mersin Yenisehir Bld in a clash between two sides that have delivered solid performances since the start of this EuroCup Women season.

In a match-up that features two clubs that transferred from the EuroLeague Women, Turkish powerhouse Galatasaray will take on Hungary's KSC Szekszard.

Galatasaray and Szekszard earned a place in the EuroCup Women Quarter-Finals in replacement of TTT Riga and Spar Girona, as those two teams will continue in the EuroLeague Women following the suspension of Russian clubs by the FIBA Europe Executive Committee.

The pairings in the Quarter-Finals are as follows (the teams that play the second leg at home are mentioned first):

Tango Bourges (FRA) v Basket Landes (FRA)
Galatasaray (TUR) v KSC Szekszard (HUN)
Valencia BC (ESP) v Umana Reyer Venezia (ITA)
CBK Mersin Yenisehir Bld (TUR) v LDLC ASVEL Feminin (FRA)

The first-leg encounters are scheduled to tip off on Thursday, March 10 and the return-leg games are set to take place a week later, on Thursday, March 17. However, if both teams in a pairing agree, they can request to play the first leg on March 15 and the second on March 18.

The winners will qualify to the season-ending Final Four, which is set to take place on April 5-7, 2022.
