    Mexico to host the COCABA Women's Championship 2022

    MIAMI (United States) - The FIBA ​​Americas Regional Office announced that the Central American Women's Championship 2022 will be played at the Gimnasio Rodrigo M. Quevedo in Chihuahua, Mexico, from July 27 to 31.

    The tournament will feature the participation of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama and the host, Mexico.

    The six national teams will play in a round robin format, one game against each opponent. At the end of all the matchups, the team that finishes in first place will be declared the champion. Silve and Bronze will go to the second and third team respectively.

    The Central American Women's Championship grants three spots in the Women's Centrobasket Championship 2022, scheduled for the month of November.
