    MAULLIN (2011 FIBA World Championship for Women) - The Brazilian U19 Women's National Team's won the International Tournament in Maullin by beating Chile 80-43 in the final day.

    This tournament served as preparation for the 2011 FIBA U19 World Championship for Women to be played in Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas from 21 to 31 July.

    The draw for the tournament is on Friday at the University of San Sebastian Auditorium, Puerto Montt at 17:00 local time (21:00 CET) and is live on fiba.com.

    Damiris Dantas scored 27 points and Tassia Pereira De Souza 16 for the Brazilians who ended with a 3-0 record.

    Javiera Morales and Fernanda Serrano had 13 points each in the host nation's loss.

    Meanwhile, Argentina cruised past Chile U23, 71-44, as Natacha Spiatta led with 16 points.
