In the first game of the season for these two teams back on October 5, which was also the first meeting between these two teams, Galatasaray defeated Oostende on the road, 92-78. Galatasaray are coming off an 88-75 win over Hapoel Atsmon Holon, while Oostende are coming off a 71-66 loss to Legia Warszawa.

Galatasaray have won three of their four games in the BCL this season, including the last game against Oostende (92-78); the Turkish team have won their last two games at home and a win here will see them matching their longest winning streak at home (won three in the 2021-22 regular season). Galatasaray are the only team to average fewer than 10 turnovers per game in the BCL this season (8.5); consequently, they are also the team that has the best assists per turnover ratio this season (2.2). Angelo Caloiaro scored 18 points for Galatasaray in his most recent BCL game but has never scored 15+ points in consecutive league games; he has averaged 16.7 points and 6.0 rebounds per game in his last three appearances. Oostende have won just one of their 11 games against Turkish teams in the BCL and have lost all their five trips to Turkey; Oostende have scored fewer than 70 points in each of their last two BCL games but never had a longer streak of games scoring below that mark. It's already that time of the season where permutations come into play and that's the case in Group C. This week, Galatasaray would advance to the Round of 16 with a win over Oostende, but they also need Legia Warszawa to defeat Hapoel Atsmon Holon.
In Oostende's case, if they want to eventually advance out of the group to the next round, they need to continue to stay ahead of Legia in points differential, as the two teams are tied at 1-3.
