Christmas is coming, and as usual, the Basketball Champions League Regular Season is coming to an end.

MIES (Switzerland) - Group A has unpredictability all over the place, Group C will feature a direct battle for second place between Saint-Quentin and Karsiyaka, Group F still hasn't been decided for Play-Ins and Round of 16 qualifications, while Group H will start the checkered flag madness.

Haven't convinced you about sitting down, relaxing, and choosing the most intriguing games of the latest action in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season? Well, in this preview you find 48 more reasons behind deciding whether to enjoy Wednesday's showdowns or not.

    UCAM Murcia (4-1) vs. Peristeri Domino’s (2-3) - Group H, 18:30 CET

Ludvig Hakanson has been offensively huge for UCAM Murcia this season
    • UCAM Murcia have won their last four games in the BCL, a run that started with a 81-76 win over Peristeri Domino's in the reverse fixture; they have won 24 of their last 26 home games in the competition, scoring more than 85 points in each of the most recent five.

    • Peristeri have won their last two games, but have won three in a row only once in the BCL Regular Season, in December 2019; each of their last 10 road games in the Regular Season have seen a win of the team leading at halftime, Peristeri winning only two of those games.

    • Murcia have the second-best defensive field goal percentage in the BCL this season, allowing their opponents to score 40.6 percent of their attempted field goals; they have allowed their opponents to score fewer than 40 percent of their FGA in each of their last three BCL games, but have never had a longer such sequence.

    • Ludvig Hakanson (Murcia) has already scored more points in five BCL games this season (69) than in his 10 games of the 2023-24 season (67). He has scored more than 10 points in each of his two games against Persiteri, making a total of seven three-pointers.

    • Chris Coffey (Peristeri) has grabbed 10+ rebounds in each of his last two BCL games after doing it in only once of his first 19 appearances. He has already faced Murcia three times in the BCL, but has scored a total of only six points in 73 minutes against them.

    • UCAM Murcia had six players in double-digits during the weekend, but the collective scoring effort wasn't enough to beat Valencia in the Spanish Liga Endesa; in a clash of BCL clubs with Promitheas in the Greek League, Peristeri weren't successful despite Jarell Eddie's 19 points.

    Manisa Basket (3-2) vs. FMP SoccerBet (1-4) - Group H, 18:30 CET

Not only Saben Lee - Hugo Besson's doing it all for Manisa
    • Manisa Basket have lost their last two games in the BCL after winning each of their first three; they have scored fewer than 80 points in each of their last three games after scoring 100+ points in the first two, including in the reverse fixture against FMP SoccerBet (101-97).

    • FMP have lost their last four games in the BCL but three of those defeats ended with a margin of six points or fewer; they have scored fewer than 70 points in two BCL games, it was in each of their two previous games played away from home.

    • Manisa's starting lineup has scored 67 points per game, the most of any starting five of any team in the BCL this season: that's 77.4 percent of their points being scored by their starters, the highest such ratio by any team in the league in 2024-25.

    • Hugo Besson (Manisa) has scored 93 points in the BCL this season, more than any other player born in the 2000s. He had 21 points, 8 assists and 7 rebounds in the reverse fixture against FMP, making all his 12 attempts from the free-throw line in that game.

    • Danilo Tasic scored 25 points in the reverse fixture against Manisa, the only time a FMP player has scored more than 20 points in a BCL game; however, he failed to score more than eight points in each of his first two road games in the competition.

    • While still fighting for a spot in the Play-Ins in Group H, Manisa aren't having the best of their days in Türkiye, tied at 2-8 almost at the bottom of the table. However, they managed to recently beat Merkezefendi 80-75; FMP have been turning their season around in the ABA League, as they're on a three-game winning streak standing in the playoff picture.

    Igokea m:tel (2-3) vs. FIT/One Wurzburg Baskets (3-2) - Group A, 20:00 CET

Zac Seljaas had a majestic night against Igokea
    • Igokea m:tel have only won two of their last 14 games in the BCL but one of those wins came on Gameday 5, against Nanterre 92 (83-78); they have won only one of their last eight home games after winning nine of the first 12.

    • FIT/One Wurzburg Baskets have lost their last two BCL games after winning their first three; only one of their five games ended with a double-digit margin, it was in their win against Igokea in the reverse fixture (98-80).

    • Igokea have attempted (27.6 per game) and made (24.0pg) the most free-throws of any team in the BCL in 2024-25, whilst also having the highest scoring percentage from the line (87%); Wurzburg, on the other hand, have allowed the most attempted FTs in the league this season (26.8).

    • Terrell Carter (Igokea) has made a double-double in two of his last three BCL games after never making one in any of his first 16 appearances; he has scored more than 10 points in each of his last seven games, averaging 15.3 points in that span.

    • Zac Seljaas and Mike Davis Jr both had 25 points in the reverse fixture against Igokea m:tel, the only time two teammates scored 25+ points in a same BCL game this season. Seljaas has had 15+ points and 5+ rebounds in each of his five BCL games this season.

    • Tied with FMP at 7-5 in the ABA League, Igokea won as well during the weekend, picking up the 85-80 road win over Krka; moving to Germany, Wurzburg enjoyed a 19-point win (89-70) against Frankfurt, as Zac Seljaas scored more than 20 points (23) for the umpteenth time this season.

    Nanterre 92 (2-3) vs. Hapoel Netanel Holon (3-2) - Group A, 20:00 CET

Paul Lacombe has always turned invincible against Hapoel Holon
    • This will be the 3rd game between Nanterre 92 and Hapoel Netanel Holon in the BCL with the French side winning the most recent two, including the reverse fixture this season (76-70). Nanterre 92 have lost their two home games this season, but have never lost three home games in a row in the competition.

    • Holon have won their last three games in the BCL, but have not won more in a row since March-April 2022 (W4); they have won their last three road games played in France in the Regular Season.

    • Nanterre have scored 40.9 percent of their attempted 3-pointers, the joint-highest scoring ratio from behind the three-point line in 2024-25 (also La Laguna Tenerife); Nanterre have also made the most steals per game this season (10.2).

    • Paul Lacombe (Nanterre) could play his 6th game against Holon in the BCL and he has won all the previous five; he scored at least 18 points in each of his previous two games against Holon played in France.

    • Dakarai Tucker has scored 10+ points in each of his five BCL games and was Holon's top scorer in the reverse fixture against Nanterre (15pts). He has made multiple three-pointers in each of his five games.

    • Nanterre are entering the latest Week of action in the Basketball Champions League Regular Season on a two-game domestic winning streak, having ultimately beaten Gravelines 89-83 on the road; Holon's recent good form was interrupted by Maccabi Tel Aviv, which prevailed 79-72 on the road.

    Pallacanestro Reggiana (3-2) vs. Falco-Vulcano Szombathely (2-3) - Group F, 20:30 CET

Stephane Gombauld is one of the best rebounders this season in the BCL
    • Pallacanestro Reggiana have won their last two home games in the BCL after winning only one of their first three; in fact, each of Reggiana's five home games ended with a win of the team leading at halftime.

    • Since their win in the reverse fixture against Reggiana (78-71), Falco-Vulcano Szombathely have lost their last three games in the BCL, but they have never endured on a longer losing streak in the Regular Season; they have lost their previous two trips to Italy in the competition.

    • Of Reggiana's 74.8 points allowed per game, only 24.9 percent have been allowed from three-point shots, the best defensive ratio of any team in the BCL in 2024-25; only Derthona have allowed fewer three-pointers per game (6.0) than Reggiana (6.2) in the league this season.

    • Stephane Gombauld (Reggiana) has made 12+ rebounds in each of his last two BCL games (14.5 on average), while coming off the bench on both occasions, after never reaching double-digit in rebounds in his first 12 BCL appearances (4.2 on average), all as a starter.

    • Zoltan Perl is, alongside Eric McCollum, one of the two players to have been their team's top scorer in each of the first five BCL games this season; in fact, Perl has been the best scorer in each of Szombathely's last nine games in the BCL, the longest such run for a player with a team in the BCL history.

    • If it wasn't for their eventful defeat in Vilnius to Rytas, Reggiana would have had the opportunity to conclude the BCL Regular Season on an eight-game winning streak, as they imposed themselves even against Sassari on the road in the LBA. They are now only two wins away from the top of Italian League standings; in Hungary, Falco have been rolling: they're unbeaten at 12-0, leading the domestic competition.

WKS Slask Wroclaw (1-4) vs. Rytas Vilnius (4-1) - Group F, 20:30 CET

Simply on another level: Gytis Radzevicius has been brilliant for Rytas Vilnius
    • WKS Slask Wroclaw won their last game (74-67 v Falco Szombathely), their first win in the BCL; they are one of the two teams, with Szczecin, yet to score more than 75 points in a BCL game this season.

    • Rytas Vilnius have won their last four games in the BCL, a run that started with a win 98-75 against Slask in the reverse fixture but have never won more games in a row; they have won two of their last three road games in the Regular Season, as often as in their previous 10.

    • Rytas have had 77.2 possessions per game, the highest of any team in the BCL this season; they have also the best two-point percentage defensive ratio of any team in 2024-25, allowing their opponents to score only 43.8 percent of their such shots.

    • Ajdin Penava has scored in double-figures in each of his last four BCL games, a run that started against Rytas in the reverse fixture (10pts); he's coming of an 18-point performance against Szombathely, his highest scoring game in the BCL.

    • Rytas have seen four different players grabbing 10+ rebounds in at least one game this season in the BCL (Azuolas Tubelis GD1, Gytis Radzevicius GD4, Steven Enoch GD4 & Gytis Masiulis GD5), no other team has seen more than two players doing that. Radzevicius has grabbed 10+ rebounds in nine BCL games in total, only Keith Clanton has done that in more games in the BCL history (10).

    • Starting the Polish campaign on a difficult note, Slask Wroclaw are bouncing back lately, as proven by the 76-69 victory against Spojnia Stargard; moving a little bit more to the north, Rytas Vilnius are only one win away from tying Zalgiris at the top of the Lithuanian League standings after beating Nevezis by 20 points (89-69).

    Saint-Quentin Basket-Ball (2-3) vs. Karsiyaka (3-2) - Group C, 21:00 CET

Jerome Robinson's keeping Saint-Quentin's dream alive
    • Saint-Quentin Basket-Ball have won their last BCL game, 86-75 against Kolossos H Hotels, and will attempt to win consecutive games in the competition for the first time; each of their five games ended with a double-digit margin and four of those had a 10+ margin at half-time.

    • Karsiyaka have won only one of their last 15 road games in the BCL, but it was this season against Kolossos (71-59); they have lost their three trips to France in the competition, failing to score more than 65 points in each occasion.

    • Karsiyaka have scored 4.5 shots per game from the three-point line while playing on the road and 10.3 when playing at home; they have been making 19.6 percent of their attempted threes on their road games and 36 percent when at home.

    • Jerome Robinson has scored 18 or more points in three of his last four appearances with Saint-Quentin, including in the reverse fixture against Karsiyaka (18pts); Robinson has made multiple 3-pointers in each of his last four BCL games.

    • Eric McCollum (Karsiyaka) is, alongside Zoltan Perl, one of the two players to have been their team's top scorer in each of the first five BCL games this season; he has scored more than 20 points in each of his last four BCL games, only TJ Shorts II has done that in more games in a row in the BCL history (5 in 2022).

    • Coming off a crucial win over Kolossos in Greece, Saint-Quentin confirmed themselves in the LNB as well, beating Limoges 72-67 at home to improve their record to 7-5; Karsiyaka lost in thrilling fashion only in the latest minutes against Petkimspor as DeWayne and Daron Russell were featured in a brothers' battle.

    La Laguna Tenerife (5-0) vs. Kolossos H Hotels (0-5) - Group C, 21:00 CET

Vintage Andrew Goudelock this year for Kolossos
    • Tenerife have won their five games in the BCL this season, including a win 71-47 against Kolossos, their best winning run since 2022 (W12); they have won their last 24 home games in the competition, scoring 80+ points in 15 of those games.

    • Kolossos have lost their five games in the BCL, all with margins of greater than 10 points; they also have an average negative differential of 14 points at halftime of their games, the highest of any team.

    • Tenerife have made 40.9 percent of their attempted 3-pointers, the joint-high ratio amongst all teams in the BCL this season (also Nanterre); of their 82.0 points scored per game, 39.5 percent have been scored from behind the 3P line, the highest ratio in the league in 2024-25.

    • David Kramer (Tenerife) has averaged 22 points per game at home after making only 6.3 points per game on the road in the BCL; Kramer has made 16 shots from behind the arc, the third most in the league this season, whilst his 51.6 percent accuracy from three-point range is the highest amongst all players with at least 30 three-pointer attempted.

    • Andrew Goudelock (Kolossos) has scored in double-figures in his two last BCL games but is yet to have a longer such stretch of games; the reverse fixture against Tenerife was the only one in his seven appearances in which Goudelock came off the bench, tallying 10 points in 18:58 minutes of action.

    • Tied with their neighbors from Gran Canaria and Zaragoza at 7-4 in the Spanish Liga Endesa standings, Tenerife lost a bit of track domestically, as they lost twice in a row to Valencia and lately to Joventut Badalona; Kolossos, still winless and already eliminated in Group C, are at the bottom in Greece too with a 1-9 record, ultimately losing by 24 points (94-70) to a former Basketball Champions League participant PAOK.
