    TRIPOLI (Afrobasket 2009) - Senegal Friday put up a spirited effort to contain Cameroon in their last group-C game played in the Africa Union Hall in Tripoli winning by two points margin of 67-65 points to remain unbeaten in the group.

    Senegal won the three quarters by 14-13, 25-20 and 14-12 going into the last quarter with a 53-45 point’s advantage while Cameroon won the last quarter by 20-14 points to go down by 67-65 points.

    Senegal center, Boniface Ndong scored 17 points and grabbed 8 rebounds while Mohammed Faye and Laye Sow 10 points with De Sagana Diop grabbing 10 rebounds.

    Brice Vougang led the 2007 runner-up, Cameroon with 15 points; Yves Mekongo added 12 points and 6 rebounds
