    FIBA Women's AfroBasket

    The FIBA Women's AfroBasket (27th edition this year) is the flagship competition of African women's basketball. It takes place every two years and brings together the 12 best teams on the continent.

    These recent editions have all lived up to their promises to basketball fans.

    In 2019, during the final in Senegal, the competition broke the record for the fullest venue during a FIBA Africa event.

    That same edition marked the start of an undisputed reign for the D'tigress, who since then have not lost a single match in the competition.

    The FIBA Women's AfroBasket 2025 finals are scheduled to take place in Côte d'Ivoire from 27 July to 03 August 2025.
