DAKAR (Senegal) - Gabon head coach Wilfried Dondo described his team's clash against Senegal an uphill task, and the final numbers of the game couldn't reflect Dondo's thoughts any better.
"The mountain was high. [Senegal and Gabon] It's not the same level. We are good learners. It was a good lesson," Dondo explained after his team's 101-58 loss to hosts of the AfroBasket 2025 Qualifiers Window 2 Senegal.
"With all due respect, this was the easiest game I've ever had as a coach. They are working and they are trying to get better," Senegal Head Coach DeSagana Diop pointed out.
