The numbers for Game-day 2 of the Elite Sixteen, East Division

    Review

A series of spectacular individual performances stole the show on Game-day 2 of the Elite Sixteen, East Division.

NAIROBI (Kenya) - With the clock ticking even faster on Friday's second matchday of the Elite Sixteen, East Division, there was a collection of numbers that couldn't be overlooked.

Here's a look at the numbers that defined the four matches that preceded the decisive group stage action.

    10-for-10

Who in their wildest dreams could make all 10 shots in 10 attempts? Some might ask.

But Dyvonne Pfachi did just that, helping South Africa's MBB to a 90-61 victory over Malawi's Bravehearts. It was MBB's first win in the Elite Sixteen, East Division.

The Zimbabwean guard stole the show from the outset, knocking down shot after shot, including 5-for-5 from behind the arc.

The 29-year-old missed just one of his eight free throws to finish with 32 points.

In the process, Pfachi recorded the second-highest efficiency rating (41) behind Jean-Jacques Bossy, who had a rating of 42 in Urunani's 83-60 win over JKT on 16 October.

    11

Matero Magic's two-point lead in just 11 seconds was the shortest lead recorded by any team in the current Elite Sixteen, East Division.

The Zambian champions led City Oilers 10-8 early in the game, but a quick turnaround saw them regain the lead and extend it to 34 points before running out 93-73 winners.

    15

No other game had as many lead changes as Fox Basketball Club vs. Urunani.

Fox and Urunani exchanged the lead 15 times before Urunani closed out the game with a 70-61 triumph.

Three Urunani players, Jean-Jacques Boissy, Mohamed Doumbya and Nkosinathi Sibanyoni, played their full 40 minutes, while three of their substitutes didn't play a second.

Doumbya and Sibanyoni made the most of their time on the floor, recording double-doubles of 23 points and 17 rebounds and 17 points and 12 rebounds respectively.

    50-11

Shorthanded Kriol Star paid the price for a short rotation as their bench was outscored 50-11 in a 104-71 loss to hosts Nairobi City Thunder.

The Cape Verdean champions, who are 1-1 ahead of their final group game against MBB on Sunday 1 December, were outrebounded 56-40.

    42

At 42, Neo Mothiba is the second-oldest player in the current Road to BAL season after Mighty Barrolle's James Truman Bedeah, who is 46.

Mothiba helped MBB to a 90-61 win over Bravehearts, contributing 16 points.
