ZARAGOZA (Spain) - The city of Zaragoza, Spain has been awarded multi-year hosting rights for the EuroLeague Women Final Six.
As per the strategic partnership agreement between FIBA Europe and the host club, Casademont Zaragoza, the Pabellon Principe Felipe will serve as the stage for the crowning event of the competition for the next three years, through the 2026-27 season.
"We are excited to announce Zaragoza as the Final Six host for the next three seasons. It is a city that loves basketball and home to some of the most passionate fans in Europe," said Jorge Garbajosa, President of FIBA Europe.
"I would like to extend my gratitude not only to the host club, Casademont Zaragoza, but also the regional government of Aragon, the city of Zaragoza and the Spanish Basketball Federation for making this long-term vision to life."
"This three-year agreement is the next significant step in the continued development of EuroLeague Women," said Kamil Novak, FIBA Executive Director Europe. "It allows us to create a stable foundation for the competition's growth while providing an ideal platform for the stars of the game to showcase their talents to a global audience."
Zaragoza will enter the history books as the first-ever destination for the EuroLeague Women Final Six, which was introduced as part of the competition's new format.
"Hosting the Final Six in Zaragoza is a collective achievement for all of us who pushed to bring this great event to our territory, which will be enjoyed not only by basketball fans, but by everyone who loves the sport and the spectacle," said Reynaldo Benit, the President of Casademont Zaragoza.
"We thank FIBA for the trust placed in the Aragon Government, the city of Zaragoza and Casademont Zaragoza and we hope to repay it with a successful organization of the first edition of the EuroLeague Women's Final Six."

Four teams will earn direct qualification to the Final Six through the Second Round of the Regular Season, with two additional spots up for grabs via the Play-Ins.
