MUNICH (Germany) - The third EuroLeague Women gameday delivered some exciting games and also plenty of elite and memorable individual performances that means a fierce battle to take Player of the Week honors. It was Spaniard Maria Conde coming out on top in the fan vote with 39 percent to cap an excellent week.
Emma Cannon finished with the highest performance efficiency valuation at 33 after a stunning double-double for KGHM BC Polkowice as they almost caused a seismic upset against Fenerbahce Opet. They just came up short in a 90-88 loss, but the forward did everything she could to inspire the win with 28 points, 10 rebounds and 3 assists. Her teammate Alexis Peterson was also hugely influential in the backcourt and did the business by shooting the lights out for her 16 points and also passing the rock 8 times. Natasha Howard recorded the highest individual score by a player this season as she amassed 35 points for CBK Mersin as they eased out Olympiacos 81-67. She also added 9 rebounds and 2 assists. Tango Bourges Basket made it two wins in a row as they rode past Zabiny Brno 91-70 and that was mostly thanks to the sensational 10 of 12 shooting effort from forward, Kariata Diaby. She could barely miss en-route to 25 points and 8 rebounds.
Finally, Maria Conde shows no signs of cooling down and continued her rich vein of form as ZVVZ USK Praha won impressively 86-66 at Umana Reyer Venezia. The Spaniard racked up 20 points, 6 boards and 5 assists.
